We're getting towards the end of refurbishing the sauna trailer ready for next season. We had a bright purple sauna for a few days I (sue) thought it looked blue with a hint of purple when we looked at the colour chart but not when we started painting so we quickly took it back to the shop and had some more colour added and it is now a nice blue. We also replaced part of the shower floor and put a new top on the lower seat, fitted tongue and groove around the curved wall of the heat transfer column and replaced the lower wall on the long side of the upper bench and sanded and painted or varnished the whole interior, replaced part of the chimney, repaired the burner sorted out a more sensible lighting system etc.

waiting for paint to dry on the sauna floor while completeing the engine reconditioning on the Landrover which has included honing bores and fitting new piston rings,reconditioning head and fitting 4 new exhaust valve pushrods, repairing upper sump edge, replacing power steering pump hoses and changing the electric fuel pump over to the diesel line to make flushing the injector pump for cold starting easier.

just about finished making new cold plunge, bigger and better (I hope) than the little inflatable that kept getting punctures.

we did finish it and it should be really good and save us work on site but it 's a lot heavier than the old inflatable.

AND THEN we had to rebuild the Landy engine which ended up with new rings in honed bores and the head reconditioned and some new pushrods and then a bit more work and then a bit more which took us up till just before christmas

30 dec think its only the exhaust to be done on the Merc and then we've finished with catching up on the repairs from 07
