This page is supposed to be about the festies we do but it will get better

Please note anything written on this site about festivals is from our viewpoint ie. we run SAMS and don't get to see much of the festie, I (mark) start about 6,30 am and run the sauna etc. until midnight -- or later and seldom get away more than once or twice a day for 20 minutes at a time! Sue starts at 9am and runs her stall(worth checking out) until about 6pm when she changes over to the sauna and goes till late. So what we say about fest is what it's been like at our spot

festies 06

we started up in scotland this year at

Knockengorroch 19-21 May this one we didn't enjoy. There was really good music on main stage and the acoustic stage was as brilliant as ever in the little snatches we heard between the nearly continuous pirate rave coming from the pizza place almost opposite us, this noise killed the relaxation area, hardly any music or massage happened there and a lot of people didn't even stop for a cuppa. It was far better for us in some previous years when we were set up next to the acoustic stage. Add this to an extra 1.5 days of work because of wet wood and about the same arranging the water supply (dragging pipes up the mountain and redoing when the stream ran dry!) and running till 5 and 5.30 am because of the wet cold people rained out of their tents. We were totally exhausted until about halfway through Earthwise which was 2 fests later

Small World 25-29may amazing number of musicians seems like a third of the people there play something, brilliant jam sessions at sauna, enjoyable and relaxed. very good support from Pony,Em and their crew

Earthwise fest 1-4 June Beautiful site could watch lovely sunsets from hot showers.what we saw of it was good. bit spoilt for us by sounds from Star Bar which was too close to us (and to the kids area we could see the kids going manic with the beat) Try again next year. Thanks to Yoda for plumbing help.

Sunrise fest 16-21 June amazing first attempt at creating a Festival. needed lots more punters

Workhouse festival Llanfyllin 1-2 July We apologize to anyone who expected us to be there .Can't say anything about it because we were cancelled out at the last minute in favour of Heat Wave sauna!

Beat herder june 30- 2 July not our normal sort of fest as lots of beat, good musicians on main stage but we could only hear them in the breaks in the beat. Rather shy punters, good support

Buddhafield12-16 July Our favorite of the year!!! Book early. Drugs and alcohol free site

Big Green Gathering 2-6 August Only good reports from our end of the site, lovely atmosphere, people etc. our thanks to Brig, Yoda and litter crew etc.. Come along and support it.

Endorset 12-14 August Thought we were going and packed down earlier than normal at BGG then phoned up to arrange gate entry. got the impression that they forgot they invited us problems with water, site and insurance so didn't go. Again apologies to people who expected us to be there

Rainbow International already running when we popped in to see what was happening. Wet and windy.Nice atmosphere when sun came out

Northern Green Gathering 17-20August enjoyable fest good support needs more punters so come along

Small world 24-28 August We prefer the May one as its more peaceful but if you want a good last party of the year book early!

Tribal earth Aug 31- 3 Sept Good fest to support as it supports Pegasus a kids charity normally our second favourite of the year but new site plan put us to far from campers so very slow, been told better site plan for next year. and might be a Beltane camp next yearas well. 1 May? Thanks to Simon and crew.drugs and alcohol free site
