when the stall closes she helps on the sauna although she can sometimes spare some time during the day too
We can arrive on site and have a stripped down sauna running in about 2 hours if wood and water are waiting for us. This however is just the relaxation area awning and plumbing set up. There are then the comforts to be arranged i.e. cushions, d.i.y.tea table, cold plunge, out side showers, rest of awning and stall awning up and launderette and shopping done, in all when everything is right and the stall running we have done a total of up to 30 hours each.This on top of driving up 400 miles from the previous site where we have just spent an equal amount of time tatting down (more if it's been wet and muddy). We often run for site crew up till tuesday and are normally setting up again wed evening. We then run the services for up to 24 hours a day. Max last year was 3days of 22 hours a day in the middle of a pitch up lasting about a week.
Thanks to people from the various site crews,the people who fed us,collected firewood, tidied up,washed up etc. on through the rest of the summer and to the various crew members we've had during the summer and especially to Anouska who we hope will be with us next summer
The date now is 30/12/07 and we've almost finished the major renovation work for this year and thanks to all the people who contributed to the HAT and enabled the sauna

We have a sometimes crew who help us. The normal route to this is that they turn up at a fest, like what we're doing and help out. If what they do fits and helps enough without friction we'll sometimes offer a ticket for the next gig (and a chance to earn some money) or for a later one if we need staff
We'd like to find ourselves a girlfriend. If you're aged between 25 and 45 "approx" are more or less unattached and are bored with what you're doing, think SAMS is interesting, enjoy driving & working hard in an interesting situation with stall pitch u can usefor free, fancy being self employed as part of a team get in touch we might be what you want!
